ELEUK aims to be a platform for colleagues specialised in Spanish language teaching to meet and share their expertise and experience in the field.
Membership of the Association is open to individuals and institutions interested in its activities and sympathetic to its aims.
Our annual conference 2026 will take place in June 18th - 19th, at the University of Bath.
"As a member of ELEUK I feel that I’m part of a community of teachers of Spanish. The association is not only a perfect vehicle for networking and sharing research interests in the teaching of Spanish, but also encourages my own learning and development as a teacher."
"Being a member of the ELEUK Association is a great opportunity to share knowledge in a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend ELEUK if you want to expand your relationships and be part of an innovative community in the teaching of Languages in the UK. I have always enjoyed contributing with other colleagues and professionals and it has been very enriching. "
"Since becoming a member of ELEUK, I have met many professionals from different parts of the country and have strengthened collaboration with several institutions. In addition, I have recently started a research group with three other members of the association. But above all, I have got to know many fantastic people."
The Handbook of Spanish Language Teacher has just been published. Read the Instituto Cervantes Director of Studies' reflection on this timely volume.
"ELEUK is the organisation that any discipline would need. It brings together Spanish language teaching professionals working in a very specific educational context that so far has not been represented in any other organisation in the UK."
